Emma, my Parisian tomboy, caught a butterfly and wanted to keep it as a pet. Thankfully she decided to release it into the wild, aka, my neighbor's yard.
Awww, very sweet. The end of each school year the science department gives out caterpillars. The boys brought home 5 (or 6?) a few years ago and we had to keep them and they only eat mulberry tree leaves. Then the whole cuckoon thing and then hatching and, finally, the release. Took 2 1/2 months. I had bugs in my house that I had to feed for 2 1/2 months. Yuck!
Is she old enough to read "Girl of the Limberlost" yet? It radiates with youthful naturalness and the exuberance thereof. Or, maybe, "Freckles", which also seems appropriate.

I love your new background... however, I can't hardly see the titles of your posts.
