"Mom, my hands are FREEZING!"
Although Emma complained of frozen hands, she did not want to come inside. We spent 15 minutes getting dressed and Lily stayed outside for about that long. Jack and Emma stayed out for a bit longer. They wanted to build a snow fort, but I think that we need several feel of snow to pull that off. I'm not sure that I could mentally handle that much snow.

You weren't even a twinkle for the 'Big Snow of '69'. We got 4' of snow right after Thanksgiving and we built everything we could think of in that snow. We had tunnels and channels and jumped off the roof - I went first! I'll pray for a big snow for ya Emma!
I remember that snow! We were out of school for 2 weeks! Somewhere we have pictures of people jumping off the roof of the Hayden Bridge house.
Maybe the kids can make the biggest snow angel ever!!!
I thought that snow was right at the end of Christmas vacation - it extended the days off by quite a bit.
We had a yard stick in the back yard outside the big picture window and would watch the level of the snow every day.
