Pinewood Derby
After many an hour spent on a block of wood, Jack is the proud winner of not one, but two trophies. He won second place for his den and second overall for the pack. AND he did most of the work.

We didn't lose... we just came in second. It sounds like our mantra during soccer.
He sure does look cute holding those trophies with such a happy look on his face.
It's weird to think you only have to go through 3 pinewood derby's. I had 14. I think Nathan and Andrew overlapped for one. I learned early on that it was wisest to just take a couple of Tylenol before it started.
Good job Jack! We like that blue color, but to see the blaze of orange flying down the track would have been awesome!
I *think* we have one more, but that'll be the last. Debbie, you certainly had a lot of cars to make. That I do NOT envy. Jack and Michael make quite the pair when they start the car. There are never enough safety tips.
