We tried to tell Emma we were going to skip her birthday this year. She could stay 8 for another year. Unfortunately, she didn't take us up on that offer. We also tried to tell her since she was born @ 10 at night, we would have to wait to have cake until then. Once again, she didn't go for it. I guess she's getting smarter in her "old" age.

Happy Birthday Emma

Happy Birthday, Emma! I would be glad to share some of my age with you...if I give you 8 years, that means you'd be old enough to drive right now. Cool.
As they get older you have to commit to the trickery more... Change all of the clocks in the house or record shows on tv from the previous day.
