Getting the basement done is like being pregnant. It goes really slow when you're the one having the baby, but if it's someone else, it goes by quick. It's been just over a month since we started, but it feels much longer for me.
This picture probably has the most bang for our buck as far as trim work goes. All the doors were hung and trim around the windows, doors, and floors got installed. The closet got a couple shelves and the sump pump has a hinged lid to cover it. (That's under the few shelves in the corner).
The next step is getting the trim work painted, that's happening tomorrow. I believe that the tile is going to be installed next week.

You're welcome for the pregnancy analogy.
The. basement. looks. awesome.
When I clicked over from Debbie's blog I was hoping for some "interesting" pregnancy information. Alas, no.
Looks great and yes, it sure has gone by quickly for us just watching on the sideline!
How fun it will be to move in!
I could take a picture of the bedroom downstairs that is a "year in the making", ( and still holding!)
It's like never having that multiple birth.
BTW-- Basement--dang awesome!
My heart paused for a quick second at the word "pregnant," but then I realized you're way too smart to have another baby at this point. :)
Well, now that you have another bedroom don't you need to fill it?
It looks great! So impressed!
