I am so excited that school starts in 1 hour and 25 minutes. Lily woke me up around 5 am by crawling in bed with us and then I couldn't fall back asleep because I was so excited that we are getting back to our regularly scheduled program. I almost feel like it's Christmas morning all over again, but it's all for me.
The kids are actually glad that school is starting again, but I think that'll last until we have to start homework. We did have to finish up some left over worksheets from before Christmas break yesterday. Nothing like leaving homework until the last minute.
I'd like to say that my house will be in tip top shape by the end of the day, but let's be realistic, it's not going to happen. I might put my dancing socks on and polish the floors with my happy dance. We'll see where the day leads me.

Just wait until all three of your children start school. I predict that your happy dance will include some new moves - like backflips.
oh, how I envy you.
My happiness is was tempered by the fact that it was just Jack off to school this morning and not all three. Emma will be heading to school in an hour or so. It's amazing how one less child makes a difference.
