Flipflop Weather

The weather is so nice (60s) that I was wearing sandals yesterday and today. Anytime the temperatures start to warm up I get a little spring fever and want to jump right into the next season.

I know this won't last, but I'll enjoy it while I can. Jack keeps saying; "This is Spring, right Mom?" I hate to burst his bubble, I just remind him that it's January.

I love inappropriate footwear...Makes it feel like summer all year long.

Our youth speaker in church today was wearing sandals. He was also wearing a skirt.

I, myself, prefer "Ughs" (sp?) in January, but to each his own.

Oh Deb, you can't comment like that and run.

It was a tasteful black wrap-around with subtle suit detailing...really.

His family is from Hawaii - I know his mother's family is Hawaiian...not sure if his dad is Hawaiian or some other type of Polynesian. His dad(who is a large muscular football player type) also has been known to sport a skirt. If I knew what else to call it, I would.

What kind of footwear goes with a sarong?

I would venture a guess the 'skirt wearers' are Samoans. We have a few down here too and they often wear lavalava's.
